Save Iconic Architecture (SIA) envisions cities where iconic architecture is protected, preserved, and celebrated.  SIA is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization whose mission it is to bring awareness and action to preserving endangered architectural and significant cultural structures as art through its 3 core strategies:

Landmarking:
• Nominate important structures and usher them through the historical landmarking process where they would otherwise continue to be unprotected and at risk for extinction
• Develop innovative, longstanding, trusted partnerships with historians, conservancy groups, community and cities

Preservation:
• Provide skilled teams to preserve landmarks in need and/or in disrepair
• Champion against demolition of important structures
• Donate Materials towards the upkeep of iconic structures

Advocacy and Awareness:
• Increase public awareness, understanding, and support on the importance of Iconic Architecture
• Educate communities and design students about preservation through house tours, preservation houses and internships for students with a passion and curiosity for architecture
• Support city, county, state, and federal policies and legislation for awareness and architectural landmark protection
