SUMMARY:Matinee with Members: Moose on the Loose at Theatre West - Written & Produced by the talented Dina Morrone\, and BHWC Member!
DESCRIPTION:Come enjoy this Sunday afternoon of laughter\, camaraderie and Prosecco with writer\, producer and club member Dina Morrone at Theatre West. Moose on the Loose\, a comedy about an Italian family and a Candadian moose\, returns to the stage by popular demand. When a loose moose wanders into town holding a Molson Canadian beer and gets stuck in the Polish neighbor’s camper trailer\, four generations of an Italian/Canadian immigrant family from Calabria in Southern Italy soon realize the moose isn’t the only one who is stuck\, displaced\, and confused. \nSunday Matinee performance begins at 2:00PM. Prosecco and sweets with Dina immediately following the show. \n“I cannot tell a lie\, Moose On The Loose is really funny and surprisingly moving.” Mel Brooks \n \n“If you love ethnic comedies like My Big Fat Greek Wedding or more specifically comedies about Italians such as Buon Natale or Moonstruck\,\nyou will love Moose on the Loose.” (Recommended) – Don Grigware\n \n“Call your brother\, your crazy aunt or take your Nonna to see Moose on the Loose. You will laugh and enjoy the spirit of family.” – The Walleye\n \n“This gentle character-based ensemble piece achieves its unpretentious ambitions\, with Peter Flood’s direction setting an appropriately breezy tone.” (Recommended) – LA Times\nIf you would like to see this show but cannot attend 4/16/22 with club members and Dina\, tickets can be purchased for performances April 14-May 21\, 2023 directly at www.theatrewest.org or by calling 323 851 7977.
